Targets for nuclear-physical research
- 1. Khar'kov Physicotechnical Institute (USSR)
Description
A method is described for obtaining targets up to 30 μm thick from milliquantities of isotropic oxidizing rare-earth metals (Nd, Pr, Ce, La) by means of their vacuum-thermal reduction from hafnium oxides followed by evaporation of the metal and deposition of a film, protecting the metal layers from oxidation in air, on the target
