Description
The reactions for the superheavy nucleus synthesis are considered. Proceeding from the results obtained in reactions of cold fusion with 208Pb and 209Bi targets and those of hot fusion with 48Ca ions, the feasibility of using the reactions with ions (A≥50) is considered. Estimates of the formation of heavy nuclei and superheavy nuclei with large neutron excess in the reactions of quasi-fission and inverse fission reactions are presented. Experiments with 136Xe and 238U ion beams may give some idea on the SHE cross sections in the reactions of this type. It is shown that an increase in the intensity of 48Ca ion beams at the set-ups of the MASHA type open possibilities for γ-spectroscopy of the superheavy nuclides
