On the nature of the high critical current in textured yttrium metaloxides
Description
The hydrostatic pressure effect on the superconducting transition temperature Tc and critical current density jc is studied in a textured YBCO ceramics. The jc respons on the pressure p in the textured samples is less significantly than that characteristics in yttrium ceramics prepared with the ordinary technique. The whole of the critical current growth in MTG-samples is explained by the observed quantity dTc/dp=0.3K/kbar. This allows to draw a conclusion that the Josephson weak links existing in textured ceramics do not appear in the current characteristics
