Radiation safety
Description
The principal objective of radiation protection is to maintain safety standards with respect to radiation exposure. Well known nuclear accidents have shown that hazard potentials have to be carefully evaluated, even without nuclear power plants on Austrian territory. The Austrian Research Centre has designed and developed a radiation survey meter based on an analysis of user requirements. This cooperation with potential users and 'smart solutions' in many technical areas have helped to create a device, which has found wide acceptance due to its high quality, simple operation, and excellent performance
