The method of multiexposition particles visualization in high-speed two-phase flows

  • 1. Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics

Description

The paper presents the description of the model experiments for the choice of optimum conditions of recording the multiexposition representation. The advantage of spatial-spectral analysis (SSA) method by large volumetric particles concentrations ≥ 1% when the visual processing becomes to be very complex is shown. A device for photoelectric recording of the light intensity distribution in spatial spectra based on the use of the double electron-optical transformer is described. The results of measurements of particles velocity by SSA method are compared with data of visual processing of multiexposition representation as well as with the data of laser-Doppler measurements. Formulating the determination of particles acceleration from the spatial spectra, as well as the particles velocity dependence on dimension are discussed
