Description
The 12C+20Ne->32S subbarrier fusion cross section is investigated in the quantized ATDHF theory. The calculations are performed on a three-dimensional grid and as interaction the Skyrme-III force is used without ls-term. It is shown that the fusion process is strongly influenced by a α-transfer. A comparison of the adiabatic collective path with the sudden one demonstrates that the transfer may enlarge the fusion cross section by a few orders of magnitude. (orig.)
