Search for third generation squarks at the LHC hadron collider

  • 1. Sao Paulo Univ., SP (Brazil). Inst. de Fisica. Dept. de Fisica Matematica

Description

A promising way to reconcile naturalness with a decoupling solution to the SUSY flavour and CP problems is found in models with an inverted mass hierarchy. Such models predict light third generations of squark. We analyze the potential of the LHC hadron collider to search for third generation squarks using the possibility of b tagging to reduce the background. (author)
