Description

Civil defense, war prevention, and specific medical problems of catastrophes are discussed. Some of the medical problems are: Renal failure due to shock, burns, immunological consequences, infection models, selective decontamination as a means of preventing infections. Further subjects of investigation are: Fundamentals of organisation relationship between dosemeter dose and organ dose; blood cell genesis in cases of acute or chronical γ and neutron exposure; effects of radioprotective agents on mammal cells. 4 of the 17 conference papers have been evaluated for this data base. Abstract (German)

Neben Fragen des Zivilschutzes und der Kriegsverhuetung werden spezielle Probleme der Medizin im Zusammenhang mit Massenkatastrophen behandelt. Nierenversagen durch Schock, Verbrennungsforschung, immunologische Konsequenzen, Infektionsmodelle und die selektive Dekontamination als Methode zur Infekt-Praevention bilden medizinische Themen. Daneben wird u.a. auf Grundsaetze der Organisation, Beziehungen zwischen Dosimeterdosis und Organdosis, Blutzellenbildung bei akuter und chronischer Gamma- und Neutronenexposition sowie die Einwirkung von Strahlenschutzsubstanzen auf Saeugetierzellen eingegangen. Von den 17 Einzelvortraegen sind 4 Datenbasis-relevant und sind getrennt aufgenommen. (DG)
