This annual report is structured as follows: the "News" chapter contains the topics of energy (e.g. effective performance measurement of solar modules, household gas meters suitable for hydrogen; synthetic fuels for climate-neutral flying); Environment and climate (e.g. "Extra dry" - gas moisture measurement in industry and climate research, explosion hazards of refrigerants with low global warming potential); the "Health" chapter (e.g. Artificial intelligence simplifies radiotherapy planning; Searching for biomarkers with xenon), the "Digitalization" chapter (e.g. Reliable AI software in production; Trust in virtual flow measuring devices), the "Quantum technology" chapter (e.g. controlled collision of two electrons in a semiconductor chip; a single ion as a thermometer); the chapter "Systemic Metrology" (From AI software to surgical robots). The "Facts and Figures" chapter deals with finances, people, quality management and transfer. The "Organization" chapter includes the following topics: New management positions, prizes and awards; Training and dual studies; Board of Trustees and PTB organizational chart.

Abstract (German)

Dieser Jahresbericht ist wie folgt strukturiert: das Kapitel "Nachrichten" enthält die Themen Energie (z.B. Effektive Leistungsmessung von Solarmodulen, Haushalts-Gaszähler für Wasserstoff geeignet; Synthetische Kraftstoffe für klimaneutrales Fliegen); Umwelt und Klima (z.B. "Extra dry" - Gasfeuchtemessung in Industrie und Klimaforschung, Explosionsgefahren von Kältemitteln mit geringem Treibhauspotenzial); das Kapitel "Gesundheit" (z.B. Künstliche Intelligenz vereinfacht die Strahlentherapie-Planung; Mit Xenon auf der Suche nach Biomarkern), das Kapitel "Digitalisierung" (z.B. Zuverlässige KI-Software in der Produktion; Vertrauen in virtuelle Durchflussmessgeräte), das Kapitel "Quantentechnologie" (z.B. Kontrollierte Kollision zweier Elektronen in einem Halbleiterchip; Ein einzelnes Ion als Thermometer); das Kapitel "Systemische Metrologie" (Von der KI-Software zu Operationsrobotern). Im Kapitel "Zahlen und Fakten" werden Finanzen, Menschen, Qualitätsmanagement und Transfer behandelt. Im Kapitel "Organisation" sind folgende Themen: Neu in leitender Funktion, Preise und Auszeichnungen; Ausbildung und Duales Studium; Kuratorium sowie PTB-Organigramm.
