Method for calculation of charged particle momentum in magnetic spectrometers

Description

The method for calculation of the momentum of a charged particle in magnetic spectrometers in high-energy experiments with fixed targets is proposed. The method gives the improvement in number of coefficients by more than one order in the number and in the number of computer operations by approximately two orders and is much simpler. The method is tested on the magnetic spectrometers of the experimental setups ISTRA-M and HYPERON. 8 refs.; 4 figs
