Fragmentary character of modulated (quasiperiodical) structures during isomorphous decomposition

Description
Using as an example the Fe-19.5 at.% Be alloy, elastic energy of interaction of coherent spherical particles of the same size in the case of periodic and non-periodic spatial distributions has been calculated for isomorphous decomposition. Type and parameters of the optimum distributions for alloys with positive and negative parameter of anisotropy are determined. Explanation for the three-dimensional distributions observed is suggested and pair function of mutual location of particles is ''constructed''
