How to liberate quarks from chromodynamical confinement

  • 1. Tokyo Univ., Tanashi (Japan). Inst. for Nuclear Study

Description

Possible liberation of quarks from chromodynamical confinement is discussed. Particularly, it is shown that the Higgs scalar of weak interaction may disturb the formation of the Kogut-Susskind string if enough energy is supplied. If this is the case, the confinement is only temporary and quarks would eventually come out. (author)
