Bundles of high-energy muons and spectrum of primary cosmic radiation. Simulation technique

Description
The method of Monte-Carlo simulation of hadronic cascades in the atmosphere and muon transport problems through the rock at energies ∼ (1014-1018) eV are discussed. Some original procedures of simulation of such complicated events as hadron and muon interactions at superhigh energies are suggested.The elaborated technique of simulation of cascades transported through the atmosphere and through the rock can be used to interpret experimental data obtained at underground detectors and at installations with both ground and deep underground detectors
