Electron-beam radiolysis of N2-O2-H2O-NOx-SO2 mixtures in gas phase

Description
The effect of fast electron irradiation (E = 1.5 MeV, J = 1-50 mkA, temperature 25-2400C) on the efficiency of NOx and SO2 removal in static and flow systems from mixtures N2-O2-H2O-NOx and N2-O2-H2O-SO2 has been studied. The influence of composition, dose, dose rate and temperature on the removal of NOx and SO2 has been obtained. The experimental results observed are analyzed in terms of radical-induced oxidation NOx and SO2. (author)
