Description
In this paper the authors discuss the maintenance requirements and procedures for the regions exterior to the vacuum vessel f the proposed ignition experiment IGNITEX. (The in-vessel maintenance is handled by a robotic system). The regions exterior to the vessel are labeled as the test cell (the room containing the machine) and the experimental hall (the region exterior to the main shielding). The experiment has been designed so that the test cell contains the minimum amount of hardware possible with much of the hardware requiring maintenance located in the experimental hall. The layout of the test cell and experimental hall for the IGNITEX experiment are presented
