Directivity of flare loop γ radiation
- 1. AN SSSR, Moscow. Fizicheskij Inst.
Description
Angular distribution of solar γ-radiation is calculated. Gamma radiation is produced by accelerated particles moving in arch structures (loops) in the solar atmosphere. Calculations of orientation of radiation with energy of more than 10 MeV for concrete arch modes with isotropic initial distribution of accelerated electrons are presented. Data on angular distribution of γ-radiation in strong 44 MeV 12C carbon line are given. It is noted that experimental investigation of radiation orientation in lines may present important information on possible anisotropy of heavy particle acceleration during solar flares
