Spectroscopic investigation of the structure of transition element oxalate complexes wich hydrazine

Description

Properties and the structure of genetic series of M(N2H4)2C2O4 compounds, where M = Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn and Cd are studied by the methods of IR-, ESR and electron spectroscopy of diiffuse reflection. Assignment of bands in absorption spectra is carried out. Metal ions of all complexes investigated are shown to be bound in grids by hydrazine bridge molecules being in equatorial planes, as well as oxalate-ions being in axial positions
