Description

There are only very few reports on the in vivo behaviour of xanthates. In search of a 99mTc-based neutral agent that could strike a more optimal balance of the desirable characteristics for a myocardial perfusion imaging agent, authors have synthesized a tert-butyl xanthate, which is similar to TBI, except for the coordinating group and has been labeled with (99mTcN)2+ core. The preparation and in vivo evaluation of the (99mTcN)2+ complex of tert-butyl xanthate is reported herein
