Calculations of the ionization potentials of uranium by relativistic Hartree-Fock-Dirack method with taking into account interaction of configurations

Description

Uranium ionization potentials and energies of low-laying uranium atom terms in the basic state U(7s25f36d1) and ion U+(7s15f36d1) are calculated. The calculations were carried out by Hartree-Fock-Dirac relativistic method. Correlation effects were accounted for by configuration superposition method. Comparison of theoretical results with experimental data was made and accuracy of different methods of calculating ionization potentials was evaluated
