Description
The cantilever vibration criterion for the 60Co container inspection vehicle was analyzed based on the relationship between vibration and the performance of the container inspection system. Static deformation, the vibration shape and the inherent frequency of the cantilever of the 60Co container inspection vehicle were calculated with the ALGOR Finite Element System of verify the strength and rigidity of the cantilever. The cantilever vibration amplitude will achieve its maximum value at the start of its accelerating process. This process was easily simulated by imposing and inertial force on the cantilever. The predictions agree well with the test results indicating that this kind of finite element model of the cantilever structure is capable of capturing the mechanical characteristics
