Description
The radiolysis of poly(vinyl butyral) films containing fluoresceine and chloral hydrate was studied. The acid form of fluoresceine was shown to be produced in the films upon irradiation. This process leads to a color change of the films and the appearance of luminescence, making it possible to use these films for dosimetric purposes
