High-temperature dehydration of hydrophilic oxides ZrO2 and Al2O3

Description
Dehydration reaction kinetics was investigated and estimation of activation energy for the ZrO2 and Al2O3 hydrophilic oxides prepared by the use of two procedures: isothermal decomposition of zirconyl and aluminium nitrates, and oxides synthesized by sol-gel method was conducted. It is shown that the activation energy of the dehydration process of metastable phases of zirconium and aluminium oxides is 2.5 - 3 as large as that activation energy values of the dehydration process of samples synthesized by the thermal decomposition method of the corresponding nitrates
Abstract (Russian)
Исследована кинетика реакции дегидратации и проведена оценка энергии активации для гидрофильных оксидов ZrO2 и Al2O3, полученных с использованием двух методик: изотермического разложения нитратов цирконила и алюминия и оксидов, синтезированных золь-гель методом. Показано, что энергия активации процесса дегидратации метастабильных фаз оксидов циркония и алюминия, синтезированных золь-гель методом, в среднем в 2.5 - 3 раза больше значений энергий активации процесса дегидратации образцов, синтезированных методом термического разложения соответствующих нитратовAdditional details
