Description
The surface topography of the domestic carbon fiber, soaking properties between the domestic carbon fiber and epoxy resin and the mechanical properties of domestic carbon fiber and filament-wound composites NOL ring were characterised. It was shown that the surface of the domestic carbon fiber was smooth and the cross section is circular. Besides, the tensile strength of the domestic carbon fiber was above 5200 MPa, and the tensile modulus was above 240 GPa, and the CV was comparative low. Except for the specific samples, the tensile strength of the domestic carbon fiber composites NOL ring was above 2400 MPa, and the ILSS was between 45 ∼ 54 MPa. What's more, the convention rate of the tensile strength of the domestic carbon fiber in the composites, and the interface properties within epoxy resin remained to be improved. The mechanical properties of each batch of the domestic carbon fibers and composites were stable, and there was no obvious difference between them. (authors)
