Motor neuron disease and magnetic field occupational exposure
Creators
Description
This publication updates the results of a prospective cohort of electricity company workers in England and Wales. The first results were published in 2007 and then updated in 2014. Now, after 31 years of follow-up, the results show no increase of risk of these diseases in the cohort compared with the general population. This news is based on the following article: Sorahan, T.; Nichols, L. 'Motor neuron disease risk and magnetic field exposures'. Occupational Medicine 2022, 72 (3), 184-90, Doi: 10.1093/occmed/kqab180
