Comparative analysis of mathematical models of emergency reactor regime investigations of a reactor on dissociating coolant

Description

Three versions of mathematical models of investigation of emergency processes in the reactor channels have been considered. These models differ by the expression form of equations of unsteady flow of dissociating coolant. The range of their application is determined on the basis of theoretical analysis and computation data. It is shown that in the investigation of emergency situation leading to sharp changes of expenditure and considerable deviations of the coolant parameters from the nominal ones, it is necessary to use the model accounting for the kinetics of chemical reactions in gas and all members in the govement equation. Otherwise, simplified models can be used and this essentially reduces machine time
