Radiation exposure at radon exposed working places in Bavaria

Description
Since 2001 the radon exposure at certain working areas, as underground workplaces, in radon therapeutic bathes, radon galleries, and in water supply plants is regulated in the radiation protection law2. In Bavaria the exposure of all affected employees is determined since 1996. In several facilities increased exposure, sometimes above the limiting value of 20 mS/a was detected.
