Aperture counters of GAMS spectrometer

Description

The multilayer (lead-scintillator) aperture counters used in hodoscopic automated multiphoton spectrometers (GAMS) for operation in high-intensity beams (up to 2 x 107 π-/sec) are described. Owing to the use of light-guide spectrum shifters, the counters have high uniformity and a low threshold of gamma registration
