Ecogaz. RAO Gazprom and Gaz de France, committed to the quality of the environment

  • 1. Gaz de France, 93 - La Plaine Saint Denis (France)
  • 2. RAO Gasprom, Moscow (Russian Federation)

Description

The intrinsic qualities of the marketable natural gas make it the best fossil energy as its combustion produces no dust, no sulphur dioxide and produces less nitrogen oxides (NOx) and carbon dioxide than any other fossil fuel. On the basis of this simple observation, two major players in the international gas industry, RAO Gazprom and Gaz de France, have joined forces to work in this direction, forming ECOGAZ. Born 6 months ago, ECOGAZ now has all the assets needed to successfully fulfill its assistance and energy advice missions, to promote more rational use of natural gas and greater respects for the environment. ECOGAZ therefore has all the assets needed to succeed in its development. (R.P.)
