Testing chiral symmetry breaking at DAΦNE
Description
The spontaneous breakdown of the chiral symmetry of the QCD Lagrangian ensures that ππ interactions are weak at low energies. How weak depends on the structure of the vacuum. Measurements of Ke4 decays at DAΦNE will provide a unique insight into its structure and test whether the q anti q-condensate is large or small. (orig.)
