Description

Within the framework of environmental protection Fe, Zn, and Pb concentrations in airborne particulate matter and Ca, Fe, Pb, Sr, Zn, Zr, and Rb concentrations in moss were determined by X-ray fluorescence analysis. Measurements were performed with a Li-drifted Si detector connected to a multichannel analyzer. Selected X-ray spectra are presented. It seems that moss is capable of indicating air pollution
