Description
The response function of stack detector consisted of polyethylene, lead (gold) and CR-39 was obtained under the fixed chemical and electrochemical treatment condition. The calculated results show that the response function FWHM of stack detector consisted of lead is smaller than that of stack detector consisted of gold. The former resolution is better than the later. The response and response function peak value of the stack detector are changed with the increment of lead (gold) thickness and neutron energy, and the response function peak value for fixed thickness of polyethylene decreases with the increment of lead (gold) thickness. For fixed thickness of lead (gold), the response function peak value increases with the increment of polyethylene thickness and neutron energy, but the resolution of stack detector becomes poorer
