To increase the mechanical strength of the capsule of a semiconductor detector used to record heterogeneities of a medium under investigation by its direct immersion into the medium, it has been proposed that the inner cavity of the capsule should be filled with a filler whose solidification temperature is higher than that of the fluid investigated. As a result, when the capsule is immersed in the fluid in question, the filler becomes solidified and, due to the solid phase undergoing little compression, ensures a practically rigid construction
