Clinical evaluation of renogram with 99Tcm-MAG3

Description
Clinical experience of more than 6000 renograms with 99Tcm-MAG3 instead of 131I-OIH is reported and the diagnosis values for variety of renal disorders are evaluated. Comparison of 99Tcm-MAG3 and 131I-OIH renograms in 50 cases with normal renal function shows that the renogram curves are quite similar and both parameters are no significant differences. The accord rate with clinical diagnosis is 96%(192/200) in result of random sampling 200 cases. Both renogram obtain same diagnosis in variety of renal disorders. The experience indicates that 99Tcm-MAG3 is a better renalgraphy agent in comparison with 131I-OIH
