The dry deposition of small particles: a review of experimental measurements
Description
The popular techniques that have been used to measure small particle dry deposition are summarized. Some of the major studies described, and the limitations and shortcomings of some of the experimental programmes performed, to date, are outlined. The large range of published deposition velocities demonstrates current uncertainties in predicting values for given conditions. Recommendations are included suggesting directions for future dry deposition research. (author)
