Radiation and radioactivity measurement technology related to nuclear power plant accident
Description
Tohoku earthquake (March 11, 2011) and tsunami led to the accident at the Tokyo Electric Power Company Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station. Radioactive contamination by the accident in wide area have been confirmed. It is an urgent issue to measure radiation dose and radioactivity. It is useful for studies on applied radiation and meaningful for research scientists on radiation measurement to investigate and sort out the present status on the development of radiation technology, and review future trend of the development. Activities of the investigation committee and lectures in the committee was reported in this document. (author)
