An Experimentalist's View of Quantum Phase Transitions
Creators

Description
A careful investigation of the transport near quantum Hall transitions and near the new metal-insulator transition in two-dimensional systems reveals possible Saws in the basic theoretical framework with which we perceive these transitions. I will present a summary of our results, emphasizing their implications on the quantum- critical theoretical approach, and also on our understanding of the phases involved
