HIRFL and simulation research of single event phenomena

Description
Cosmic ray induced single event phenomena in VLSI circuits imperil seriously the safety of space flight. Accelerator simulation plays and important role in various test methods. The main parameters and characteristics of HIRFL (Heavy Ion Research Facility of Lanzhou) are presented and it is shown that HIRFL is an effective tool to perform single event phenomena test from the standpoint of simulation
