Violation of P and T invariance in neutron scattering

Description

We study the P- and T-noninvariant effect in nucleon interaction: a rotation of the vector of the neutron spin around its momentum in the ''backward'' scattering of transversely polarized neutrons by unpolarized nuclei. The order of magnitude of this effect is estimated for a number of nuclei for which large effects of space-parity nonconservation in neutron P resonances have been observed
