Nanosecond voltage transducer

Description

The capacitor voltage transducer operating in high-voltage devices with liquid dielectric materials and ensuring pulse rise time of 2 ns and that of pileup being equal to 13 μs is described. The transducer high-voltage arm is formed by the capacitance between the transducer electrode and high-voltage electrode; the dielectric material between them is purified water with specific resistance of 0.05-0.1 MΩxm. As the low-voltage arm the foil capacitor with capacitance of 20-25 nF is used. The described transducer ensures the accuracy of voltage measuring not worse than 3% and is used in the ANGARA-5 experimental module for measuring transient processes
