Time reversal in beta-decay

Creators

  • 1. UKAEA Atomic Energy Research Establishment, Harwell (United Kingdom)

Description

Attention is drawn to the fact that time reversibility, unlike spatial symmetry, imposes useful restrictions on angular distributions in beta-decay only because of the adequacy of lowest order perturbation theory. The case of Ordinary or Wigner, rather than Schwinger, time reversal is discussed. (K.A.)
