Quasi-elastic light scattering in superionic crystals LnF3 (Ln=La, Ce, Pr)

Description
Spectra of quasi-elastic scattering of light in superionic tri fluorides LnF3 (Ln=La, Ce, Pr) in the wide temperature range have been investigated. Experimental wing was approximated by means of three Lorentz contours which correspond to different relaxation processes. The effect of sharp increase in intensity of scattering has been found in the temperature range at which the increase in mobility of fluorine ions in lattice LnF3 takes place. The movements of fluorine ions which correspond to different relaxation processes have been considered (authors).
