Description
The possibility of refinement of the BIPR-7 code method using additional information on distribution of power density in the core is considered. For the method's refinement the layer-bylayer, assembly-by-assembly distribution of the values of multiplication factors, squares of length of migration of neutrons and power density in the WWER core are used. This additional information can be obtained, for example, from the PERMAK fine-mesh calculations of the core. The results of WWER-1000 core calculations using the standard and refined BIPR-7 methods are given (Authors)
