Description

Two meetings on archives in the field of natural sciences were held in FY2019. The first one was held at High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK) and at National Museum of Nature and Science (NMNS), Tsukuba Research Department on August 7-8, 2019 with 59 participants from various institutes and universities. In this meeting the presentations were focused on the historical investigation based on archival materials and the preservation of archival materials in science and technologies. The second was at the National Institute for Fusion Science (NIFS) on December 18-19, 2019, with 36 participants. In this meeting, issues related to the archival activities mainly in the scientific research fields were reported and discussed. (author)
