Thermoelectric properties of TlIn1-xEuxTe2 crystals

Description
The electric conductivity, thermoelectric properties, and thermal conductivity of TlIn1-xEuxTe2 (0 < x ≤ 0.09) solid solutions have been studied at temperatures from 300 to 500 K. The results indicate that the thermoelectric figure of merit of the alloys increases with temperature and europium content. The TlIn0.91Eu0.09Te2 solid solution is shown to have the highest coefficient of thermoelectric figure of merit (Z=2.77x10-3 K-1) at 500 K

Исследованы электропроводность, коэффициенты термо-ЭДС и теплопроводность твердых растворов TlIn1-xEuxTe2 (0 < х < 0.09) в интервале температур 300-500 К в зависимости от температуры и состава. Выявлено, что с увеличением содержания европия и температуры термоэффективность сплавов возрастает.
