Proceedings of the thirty seventh national symposium of Optical Society of India: optics - lighting up the way

This conference encompasses possibly all the research areas ranging from traditional areas like classical, quantum optics, to the research nonlinear optics to the fast emerging field of nano-photonics, plasmonics, photonic crystals and finding applications virtually in all walks of life. The symposium made an attempt to explore and unravel the fundamental properties of light, but also had sessions where researchers show how to design the tailor-made-materials exploiting its features for various device applications.
