Absorption of dose rate in great bitumen blocks

Description

By mixing together glass-dosemeters with a big amount of coated particles and irradiating these dosemeters for a certain time, it is possible to measure the dose rate inside this active material. These values are helpful in the decision on results of research work on bitumen-waste-mixtures for better interpretation, as well as for the determination of exact dose rate-values by conditioning real waste. An arithmetic evaluation shows good agreement with the measured results. (author)
