Comparison of PSA level 2 results with the adopted strategy for severe accident management at the Kozloduy NPP units 5 and 6
Description
In this paper the PSA level 2 results and the approaches used in development of the Severe Accident Management Guidelines (SAMG) for the Kozloduy NPP units 5 and 6 are discussed. The PSA level 2 analysis is based on the units' operation status before starting the modernization program in 2001. The aim of this study is to prove the SAMG together with technical measures of modernization program lead to mitigation of consequences from likelihood severe accident. At the end authors concluded that the more precise quantitative assessment of the strategies and technical measures influence can be done after the completely revision of PSA level 1 and level 2
