Access confinement lock to a contaminated cell

Description

The confinement lock is situated between at least one access aperture to a cell which will be contaminated such as a water box of a PWR heat exchanger and an aperture provided in a bunker surrounding the cell. This access lock has an envelope made of a soft material comprising a single piece; there are doors also made of soft material dividing the envelope in a working volume and in a transit volume. The envelope can be unfolded in the space comprised between the cell and the bunker and presents dimensions such it enters into this space applying itself against the bunker and the cell between the apertures

Abstract (French)

Un sas de confinement, destine a etre interpose entre au moins une ouverture d'acces a une enceinte contaminable telle qu'une boite a eau d'echangeur de chaleur de PWR et une ouverture menagee dans une casemate entourant l'enceinte, comprend une enveloppe en materiau souple d'une seule piece, munie de portes egalement en materiau souple separant l'enveloppe en un volume de travail et un volume de transit. L'enveloppe est deployable dans l'espace compris entre l'enceinte et la casemate et presente des dimensions telles qu'elle s'inscrit dans cet espace en s'appliquant contre la casemate et l'enceinte entre les ouvertures
