Description

With regard to the electronic component the term 'fault' covers the range from total failure to undue change of a characteristic value defining the function of the equipment. The fault analysis has to assess if the existing fault is a processing or a manufacturing fault, and - if there are manufacturing faults - to check if these are fundamental faults or if they are due to poor quality control during manufacturing. Abstract (German)

Beim elektronischen Bauelement reicht der Begriff Fehler vom totalen Versagen bis zur unzulaessigen Aenderung eines die Geraetefunktion bestimmenden Kennwerts. Die Fehleranalyse muss feststellen, ob es sich um Verarbeitungsfehler oder Herstellungsfehler handelt und - falls Herstellungsfehler vorliegen - pruefen, ob es sich um grundsaetzliche Fehler oder um mangelhafte Qualitaetskontrolle waehrend der Fertigung handelt.
