Gravitational interaction of a vector field with allowance for space-time nonmetricity
Description
The gravitational interactinon of a vector field in space with nonmetricity described by the weil vector is investigated. The analogue to the Coulomb law for electrostatic field of a point charge in such space has been found. It is shown that the allowance for space-time nonmetricity results in appearance of nonlinearity of a massive vector field leading to sine gordon and sh-gordon type equations. The effect of mass shielding of the vector field as a result of its interaction with nonmetricity is revealed. The solution of the Reissner-Nordstrem problem in the Weil space coinciding asymptotically with the solution of the problem in GRT but nowwhere except zero having peculiarities is obtained. The results testify to the reasonability of allowance for nonmetricity in description of the gravitational interaction of the vector field
